Appointment Cancellation Policy

Meraki has a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy.

You can cancel or change your appointment online up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. If you are within the 24 hours, your deposit is collected as the fee for not cancelling in the allotted amount of time given. If you call prior to the closing of our previous opened business day you may cancel and be refunded your deposit. Mondays we are closed an you will not be refunded if you call on this day.

This policy is in place out of respect for technicians and clients.  Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are difficult to fill.  By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.

 

“NO-SHOWS” or Same Day Cancellations

Non-cancellations (or “NO-SHOWS”) as well as Same Day Cancellations will be charged 100% of the deposit booked. In the event you miss three consecutive appointments without contacting the salon, you will be unable to schedule future appointments online.  However, you may be considered as a walk-in.

 

Late Guests Policy

We understand “life happens”.  If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 10 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call us! We do allow a 15 minute “Grace Period” and you will still be seen by your tech. If you arrive past the 15 minute “Grace Period” you will lose your deposit and be put in line as a walk-in. If there are no techs available after your arrival you will be charged 100% of the deposit booked, and you will be marked as a “NO-SHOW”, you will be required to rebook with another deposit. We work very hard to schedule the right amount of time for each service.  Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting every other guest scheduled that day.

 

Confirmation Emails/Texts

As a courtesy, we make every effort to notify you of your appointment date and time.  Our scheduling system will contact you to confirm your service prior to your appointment via text or email (please remember that this system of communication is dependent on you keeping your current information up to date on your profile).  We confirm in advance as a courtesy because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  However, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times and inform us if your contact information has changed.

 

Child Safety Policy

Children are ONLY permitted in the salon or spa area when the child is receiving a service.  For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service.  We do not have the facilities to care for children.  We love children, and we hope you understand that we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment.  We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests.  Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

To Our Current and Future clients of the salon,

We write this notice with the utmost respect to the parents in our salon.  Over half of our staff are parents themselves and understand that this can be a sensitive issue.  We feel as a business, children who visit the salon during their parents’ appointments or children who are unattended in the waiting area pose a safety issue.  We work in an environment that has sharp scissors, hazardous chemicals and other breakable items.  If something were to happen to your child, it would not only be devastating to you and your family, it would be equally as devastating to us.

We encourage parents to visit the salon without their children unless the child has an appointment.  During their appointment, children need to be able to sit still so that the tech can perform a quality service.

Please understand that our concern is the safety of your child.  We write this notice without the intent of offending and hope that you will aid us in keeping our salon a safe environment.  Please contact us if you have concerns or questions about our policy.

 

Service Satisfaction

In the event that you are not satisfied with your service, we ask you to please contact your tech within 3 days of that service or if you cannot reach your tech please click on the Customer FEEDBACK link to share your experience (All feedback goes directly to upper management).  We would like every opportunity to meet and exceed your expectations, as we do value you as a guest.
